Ingredients (appr. 1,2 L)
1 L Water
750 g Cane sugar
2 tsp Citric acid
1 tsp Atamon (or other preservative)
Wash the elderflowers and place them in a large bowl. Slice up the lemons and place these in the bowl together with the flowers. Heat up the water and dissolve the sugar herein. Add citric acid and atamon. Pour the syrup over the flowers and lemons. Cover the bowl and leave in the refrigerator for 3 days. Strain the lemonade and transfer it to sterile glass flasks.
Dilute the lemonade 1:4 (or as you feel) with still or sparkling water in a glass with ice cubes. Enjoy!
