- I give you here two directions for two types of macaroons made from the same ingredients.
Ingredients (20-30 pieces)
160 g Sugar
100 g Coconut flour
100 g Almonds
3 tbs Flour
100 g Dark Chocolate (70-85%)
Directions for the flat and more "fluffy" variant (top photo)
Heat up the oven to 175°C. Whisk together eggs and sugar untill white. Blend the almonds into flour and add this plus coconut- and normal flour to the eggs and sugar.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the dough with a large teespoon (or small tablespoon) into single units on the baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes and cool off before dripping the macaroons with melted dark chocolate.
Directions for the more "compact" version (bottom photo)
Heat up the oven to 175°C. Blend the almonds into flour and add eggs, sugar, coconut flour, and normal flour. Mix well.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and add walnut size doug tops with a teespoon. Bake for 12 minutes and cool off before dipping the buttom of each coconut-almond bite in melted dark chocolate.
